இலங்கை ஜனநாயக சோசலிச குடியரசின் ரஷ்ய கூட்டமைப்பின் தூதரகம், இலங்கை ஜனநாயக சோசலிச குடியரசின் வெளிவிவகார அமைச்சுக்கு தனது வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதுடன் 2025/2026 கல்வியாண்டிற்காக ரஷ்ய அரசாங்கத்தால் ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட புலமைப்பரிசில்களுக்கான இலங்கை பிரஜைகளைத் தெரிவு செய்யும் பணியை ரஷ்ய தரப்பு ஆரம்பித்துள்ளது.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and has the honor to inform that the Russian side starts the selection of Sri Lankan citizens for the scholarships allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation for the 2025/2026 academic year.

முதல் தேர்வு கொழும்பில் உள்ள ரஷ்ய அறிவியல் மற்றும் கலாச்சார மையத்தால் (ரஷ்ய தூதரகத்தின் கலாச்சாரப் பிரிவு) நடத்தப்படும். இரண்டாம் நிலை ரஷ்ய கூட்டமைப்பின் அறிவியல் மற்றும் கல்வி அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் தொடர்புடைய ரஷ்ய பல்கலைக்கழகங்களால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பதாரர்களின் ஒப்புதலைக் குறிக்கிறது.

The first competitive selection will be performed by the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Colombo (the Cultural Section of the Russian Embassy). The second stage implies approval of the selected candidates by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation and the relevant Russian universities.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE

இது ஓர் பகுதி புலமைப்பரிசில். இது கல்விக் கட்டணத்தை மட்டுமே உள்ளடக்கியது. விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தங்குமிடச் செலவுகள், மாதாந்த செலவுகள், பயணச் செலவுகள், உடல்நலம் அல்லது காப்பீடு, எழுதுபொருட்கள் மற்றும் விசாவின் ஏதேனும் செலவு வகைகளை ஈடுசெய்ய வேண்டும்.

This scholarship is a partial scholarship. It covers only tuition fees. Candidates should be able to cover accommodation expenses, monthly stipends, travel expenses, healthcare or any categories of insurance, stationery, and visa.

In case you need to improve your Russian language level the Scholarship will cover a Russian Language Preparatory Course as well, prior to the main study course, usually at the same university or city. The vast majority of courses in Russia are taught in Russian language.

STEPS
Step 1. Register on the website and choose a suitable programme and university Step 2. Attach your documents and submit your application Step 3. Take the first stage selection test in Sri Lanka Step 4. The second stage of selection by universities Step 5. Get your student visa and come on over

ELIGIBILITY

All candidates with Sri Lankan citizenship who graduated from a secondary school/ a high school (with total amount of 11 years of study) or a vocational school/a college can apply for a Scholarship to study on a Bachelor degree programme or for Secondary Vocational Education.

To apply for a Master and PhD degree, Residency studies or Additional programmes you should be graduated with a higher education degree.

No age restrictions for applicants.

Scan copy of your passport (the passport must not expire earlier than 1.5 years from the date of intended entry)
School or university degree certificate with transcripts (if not completed yet, please provide transcripts of the last year of study)
Certificates of your other academic, cultural or sport activities and achievements if any
Motivation letter or/and a List of published research papers for Residency and PhD programmes candidates

There are over 400 universities across more than 80 Russian regions with a wide range of educational programmes of different levels and in various fields of study. Decide on the education programme and the list of universities offering the chosen course (up to 6 universities listed in order of preference).
